New Clients who are seeking daytime appointments are welcome to schedule a complimentary telephone consultation with me to see if we are a good fit!
Evening appointments: Due to very limited evening time slots, I reserve evening appointments for existing evening clients.
Availability and scheduling between May and September:
I am anticipating that I will be away for approximately 6 weeks beginning in mid-May, and my availability in the summer will be more limited and variable than usual. If you would like to make bookings after May 18, please check back as I will be opening my summer schedule by April 30.
I encourage existing clients to book their appointments well in advance, particularly if you need evening sessions as those time slots fill quickly. Keep in mind that 48 hours notice is required to cancel without penalty, but more notice is always appreciated.
If you don’t see the time you’d like to book on the schedule, please use the waitlist feature (see the link at the bottom left on the screen that says “Can’t find a time?”). Sometimes I am able to accommodate a last-minute request. You’re also welcome to email me to ask for help finding a time that works for you. I’m here for you!
Notice of Fee Increase:
I have increased my fees in keeping with BCACC’s recommended fee schedule. Existing clients should check their email to learn how this increase will affect you.
New fees:
Individual session, 50 minutes: $150
Individual session, 80 minutes: $240
Couples session, 50 minutes: $180
Couples session, 80 minutes: $288

It is an honour to work with people who have the courage to ask for help with their most profound and private struggles. My education opened my mind to the systems of injustice that have influenced my life, and also to the systems that do not affect me because of my privilege as a white, settler, cisgender person. I have experienced how change and trauma can shape our sense of self and our worldview, and I have witnessed how injustice can compound suffering. I know some of the wide range of joys and sorrows that life brings, and I have experienced the transformative power of the counselling profession both as a client and as a therapist.
I was raised in British Columbia on S’olh Temexw territory, which is the traditional territory of the Stó:lō people since time immemorial. I now live, work, and play on the traditional and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
My counselling approach is attachment-oriented, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed. I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and have completed coursework in gender and sexuality, anti-oppressive counselling, trauma, and Jungian psychology. I have also completed the following formal trainings:
Transforming Trauma with Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT)
Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) Level 1 and Level 2
Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1: Bridging the Couple Chasm
San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training
*Please note that while my regular session fee is $135 per 50-minute session, lower session fees are available on a sliding scale basis for a limited number of clients for whom my regular fee is a barrier. Please contact me to discuss this option if you are interested.
